He joined the architectural firm of Dankmar Adler in 1879 and worked with him for fourteen years, designing buildings such as the Auditorium Building (1886-1889) in Chicago. Afterwards, Adler withdrew and Sullivan practiced independently.

He was born in Richland Center, Wisconsin on June 8, 1867. His family moved around a lot during his childhood, including to Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Iowa before they settled in Madison, Wisconsin.

Charles-Edouard Jeanneret

Charles-Edouard Jeanneret, also known as Le Corbusier, is a famous architect who transformed 20th-century architecture and urbanism. He designed villas, public buildings, and city plans worldwide.

Le Corbusier was born in Switzerland but became a French citizen in 1930. He was an influential figure in the International Style, which is still in use today.
